Rehearsals

In recent years Gwyn's passion has been figurative work, and in particular rehearsal situations.

"I don't try to portray people just playing instruments, or dancing or acting: my interest lies in what I call the 'in between moments' when people are caught off-guard, maybe deep in concentration, conversation or laughter, beautifully simple, sometimes magical moments, the audience never sees. I am always striving for that elusive, transitory expression or gesture, to gain a glimpse of the ephemeral that grace all our lives everyday, but is rarely captured and recorded."
